KHS Student Council - KHS students would like to come read to your students on Dec. 20th. Please let me know if you DO NOT want them to stop in. I will be working on a schedule to have them come to each classroom. They prefer you have a book or two selected for them. More to come, but please mark your calendars!
Balloons Over Broadway Event - Please prepare your students (5K) for watching the Balloons Over Broadway event this week, Friday at 11:00. Reminder, there will be an adjustment to 5K specials by 5 minutes each. Please reach out to Janet with any questions.
Balloons Over Tanner Parade will be on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 11:00. We will have to shorten Kindergarten specials classes by 5 minutes each to make this work.

MAPEL staff will have “balloons” and instruments delivered to 1st grade classrooms the morning of the 17th. MAPEL staff will be in 1st grade classrooms at 10:50 to get students lined up for the parade.
We are hoping for good weather to have the parade outside. The parade would go out the Blue door, around the building, out to the sidewalk in the front of the building and back up to the Blue door. If the weather does not cooperate we will have the parade indoors with students marching around the circle and then into the gym. The high school band will lead the procession.
We would love for kindergarten students to watch the parade and families will be invited.

- Paisley Shirt Day - Nov. 20th - Wear your Paisley shirt or wear red & black with a Ladybug theme or the color purple (her favorite color - unless that has changed, Jenny/Sarah let me know 🐞💜).
- Ryland Shirt Day - Nov. 21st - Wear your Ryland shirt or wear Mario, TMNT, Pokemon.
Book Fair - FYI...We will have the Book Fair out for conferences next week. Please fill out slips for wish lists.
