Safe Routes to School - We will celebrate "walk to school day" as a monthly event to complete different activities at home.  There will be a drawing for all the prizes donated by Safe Routes to School.  Thank you for promoting this with your families.

Classroom Buddies - Thank you for connecting with your buddy class this week, or next if you cannot fit it in.  I had a couple parents mention the impact these visits had in September.  They were excited their child had an experience in a different classroom and considered them pen pals.  Great to hear!  Enjoy your time together this month.  Sarah Velicer shared a great idea that connects well to homecoming.  

Seclusion & Restraint Review - We will discuss this more during our staff/EA meetings.  Please read through the document to gain understanding and awareness.

School Custodian Appreciation - Please find a minute this week to give Mr. Bob a shout out for all his work at Tanner.

Spec. Ed. team for problem solving challenges together...we are better together!  We are so lucky to have this great group supporting our students.

All for the engagement during PD.  Your active participation and good discussion on Friday and throughout the entire month of September is evidence of our improved Collective Efficacy.
