Summer School Teachers: Below are some details for Summer School 2024. Please consider being a part of the Summer School team. 😎

Location: Kaukauna High School
Schedule/Course Offerings:

Summer School Session: June 11 - June 28, for a total of 14 days, Monday – Friday
Most classes will run for 3 Sections - 8:00-9:15, 9:20-10:35, 10:40-11:55
We will continue to offer remedial courses by invitation only: 4K - 8th grade ELA & Math
Summer School Open House: June 10th (staff are NOT required to attend)

Anyone who works Summer School for 2024

The rate of pay for certified staff will be $26.37/hour for internal staff and $24/hour for external staff.
The rate of pay for support staff will be $13.45/hour for internal staff and $11.20/hour for external staff.
If you cannot commit to working but are interested in subbing, please complete the interest form.
If you are working summer school for the 14 days, your children will be able to register early for summer school courses.

Peer Observation #3: The focus for this observation will be on Class Meeting time. We will discuss these observations at the April PD day - More details to come.

School Attendance Confirmation forms: Enrollment for 24-25 is open! We will be gathering information on our current students' plans for 24-25 with the SAC forms. Beth and Jean have these forms all set! Please send them home with students on Friday, Jan. 19th (18th for 4K).

Staff Lounge: Moving forward, please do not leave anything you are looking to get rid of in the staff lounge. All current items, not CDT related, will be taken to Goodwill.

Grading Window: You should be all set to begin enter grades for 1st semester. I plan to let parents know these are final on Jan. 29th. This gives you the afternoon of the 19th through the 28th to complete and review them. Some of you have inquired about parents viewing grades...I'm working on learning more about this to see if I can change anything on my end. I will keep you posted. Thank you for your time and thoughtfulness put into these reports.

REMINDERS...

Shelves - Please be thinking about a different space for the items stored in our spec. ed. offices. The sooner we can make more room in those spaces the better. **Please let me know when you might be ready for the shelves to be removed??** Thank you!
